Boozy Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients

200g Dark Chocolate

4 Large Eggs (Separated)

20ml Amaretto (Or Alcohol of your choice)

200ml Double Cream

1tbsp Caster Sugar

1 Flake Bar

To Decorate

100ml Double Cream (Whipped)

1 Flake Bar (Crumbled) or Chocolate Buttons.

Method
  1. Melt the Chocolate over a saucepan of hot water. Remove from the heat and whisk in the Egg Yolks and Amaretto.

  2. Lightly whip the Cream and add it to the Chocolate mix.

  3. Beat the Egg Whites until fluffy, then add the Sugar and whip for a couple more minutes.

  4. Crush the Flake Bar and gently fold into the mix along with Egg Whites.

  5. Pour into glasses or bowls and chill for 30 minutes to set.

  6. Before serving, using a piping bag, make a nice swirl of Cream onto each mousse, and top with a little sprinkle of the flake bar.
