Scones
Ingredients
450g Self Raising Flour
50g Caster Sugar
Pinch Salt
50g Margarine
300ml Milk

1 egg/milk for glaze. Optional
Method
Preheat oven AND Baking Tray to 200C (FAN)

Sieve Flour, Sugar and Salt into a bowl.

Cut the Margarine into cubes and rub into the Flour mixture. It should resemble breadcrumbs.

Add sufficient Milk to make a dough-like consistency.

Tip onto a floured surface and knead briefly to remove cracks, roll out and cut the scones

Transfer to hot baking tray (I like to put a sheet of baking paper on the tray, but that's up to you). Brush with egg or milk, if using.

Bake for 10-15 min, Cool on a wire rack.
