Lemon Loaf with Poppy and Chai Seeds

I’ve been seeing alot about the benefits of Chai Seeds lately, they’re meant to have a neutral flavour and be extremely versatile, so they can be added to almost anything from porridge to smoothies, from cakes to soups. I decided to try a Lemon and Poppy Seed Loaf and just half and half Poppy and Chai.
I’ve been told that Chai Seeds soak up a lot of liquid so I had to adjust the recipe slightly cause no-one wants a dry lemon loaf.
The end result was amazingly moist and lemony, with just the right mix of sweet and sharp. My husband found the poppy seeds a bit grainy but I love the way the little seeds pop in your mouth adding an extra bit of flavour.
