Sorry for the delay folks, it's been a hectic week, so what can i say other than.......

Wow what a workout! If anyone fancies skipping arm day at the gym, this recipe is for you. My arms were sore from the kneading, it's no wonder bakers have such strong hands.

The recipe I used made loads, it made a huge loaf of bread and 12 dinner rolls, so when i write up the recipe I'll be doing two. One with the method for bread and one for the dinner rolls.

All in all these took roughly 6 hours to make, with the first prove taking 4 hours, yes 4 hours!!! I kid you not! So if you want to have these with your dinner, you'll need to get them started fairly early in the day. Did yous know that you have to make 2 separate batches dough and then combine them? Just Why??? I'm not sure I see the point but I'll just do as the recipe tell me. Anyway apart from all the kneading, and making an extra dough, there's very little work involved in this recipe, you just need strong arms and some patience.

But boy were they worth it, so delicious. My older boy even took 2 rolls to school the next day for his lunch, my husband loved it too and between the two of us we ate half the loaf that evening, just a good thick slice and loads of real butter and a hot cup of tea, yummy!!!!
